HOW IT WORKS
Subscribers will be notified instantly via email when I’ve added new items. Substack, the platform I used to create this site, also has an app if you prefer push notifications on your phone.
Auction items will be listed with a starting price (e.g. "best offer above $500") for a four-day period beginning on Thursdays and ending on Sundays. Bidders should email their offers directly to me at the address below. I will update the item description with the highest current bid through Saturday (day three). Bid increments will be based on the item price, usually at least 10%.
Around noon CST each Sunday, I will contact the two top bidders. The second highest bidder will be given another chance to bid. If the second bidder declines further bids, the auction ends. If the second bidder carries on bidding, both bidders may continue bidding until someone taps out. If ten minutes elapse without a bid, the auction ends. Final price and identity of the winning bidder will remain confidential.
CAVEAT CONSILIUM. More so than any other punk rock collecting realms that I inhabit, the Misfits world can be a snake pit. The guy whissssspering in your ear that an item is not all that rare — or not even the real deal — may be the same guy trying to buy it for himself. I’ve seen this scenario firsthand. Fiend Club indeed. Everything that I list is fully vetted and unconditionally guaranteed authentic.
